Aonang ATV Experience

Saithai ATV Adventure is just a short 15 minute drive from Aonang. The camp is just off the main road between Krabi and Aonang.

The ATVs are well maintained good quality 150cc machines and have enough power for all but the most demanding of riders.

Age 11 is about the youngest to be able to ride one of these machines but obviously this does depend on the individual, smaller children would find it difficult to reach the controls and handle the machines. Younger riders and those who like to take it easy can go along as passengers. The guides will check the abilities of the group and take a route that is safe.

This is really the perfect place for a first time ATV experience, the ATV machines are just the right level, fast enough but not too fast and the tracks are fun without being dangerous. So, if you have a couple of young teenagers, treat them to a blast that they won't forget.

The 40 minute option stays mostly in the palm plantation surrounding the camp. There are lots of small tracks with bumps, tight corner and some big puddles to splash through.
The 1 hour option passes through these areas but also covers some more demanding mountain paths as long as the ability of the riders in the group is up to it. The camp use 1 guide for each 5 riders and will try to make sure that the riders in each group are of a similar level to make sure that the experience is exciting but is also safe.
ATV riding is possible in all weathers, even with pouring rain, so, if would be a great thing to kill some time on a rainy afternoon.

Suitable Clothing
We would advise people taking part in this activity to wear proper shoes and not sandals. Clothes are also likely to get very muddy and dusty, so, best to wear something you don't mind getting dirty.
Overall the experience is good fun. The routes are not as varied and wild as the routes on the PhangNa ATV camps (combined with white water rafting) but, the advantage is that this activity is local and does not take up a full day.
