One of the world's natural wonders, the Emerald Pool is created by the rich copper content in the water. The color is truly incredible and on a hot sunny day really does look Emerald Green.
You can choose to walk to the pool through the jungle which takes about 20 minutes or by a direct pathway which takes about 10 minutes. The jungle walk is a really nice easy walk taking you through beautiful countryside. You'll be amazed at the sound of the birds and insects.
Once you arrive at the pool, there are toilet facilities and a visitor center with a small amount of information about the wildlife in the Park.
The Pool itself is a magical place, do be careful though when entering walking to the pool as it can be a bit slippy arund the edges.
The temperature of the water is warm enough to be able to just lie in without feeling any chill but is still refreshing. The water is crystal clear and really soft water giving it a really luxurious feeling on the body.
The hot springs are located in a beautiful jungle area just minutes drive away from the Emerald Pool.
At the springs they have a well maintained set of man made pools with easy access where you can just sit and enjoy the water. A little further along a nice jungle path (about 200 meters) are the real natural springs. There is literally a waterfall of hot soothing water here with a series of natural hollows in the rock where you can lie and just let the warm water wash over you.
Bathing in a waterfall of bath temperature water is a great way to get rid of any aches and pains. Perhaps its a perfect start to your holiday in Krabi, wash away all your stress.
The water is claimed to have therapeautic qualities helping to treat a whole bucketful of ailments from kidney stones to gout. We can't make any promises but its got to be worth a try.

Quoted prices are for the number of passengers up to the maximum for each vehicle. Maximum for a car is 3 passengers, maximum for minivan is 10 passengers.
Price does not include the National Park fees for the Hot Springs and the Emerald Pool. Total National Park fees for both attractions is 290thb per adult, 145thb per child
Lunch is not included but the driver can stop at a local restaurant for lunch. The drivers know several places, just have a chat and they can suggest some options.
A standard packed, thai fried rice lunch can be provided for 100thb per person, or there is a delicious chicken and rice with holy basil dish with a an egg on top. Both can be made non-spicey on request. Fresh seasonal fruit, like watermelon and/or pineapple will also be included.
Halal and vegetarian options are also available.
A guide is not essential for the trip as all locations are well signposted. The drivers speak enough english to communicate the basic needs. We can provide an English speaking guide for an additional 1100thb.
It is also possible to add an elephant trek onto your itinerary, the price would be 450thb per person.
This is a full day trip. The journey time to the area where both the Hot Springs and the Emerald Pool are located is about 45 minutes from Aonang (20 minutes from Krabi).
The transport is by air conditioned minibus or saloon car.
As this is a private trip, just let us know what time you would like to be picked up and what time you would return. The trip is completely flexible so please let us know if you would like to include anything else and we will work out a price for you.
We can customise this trip to also include an elephant trek or a stopoff in Krabi on the way back. Just let us know what you would like to do and we will try to make it work.
